The beds in the female room were very comfortable and cozy, with personal lamps and plenty of sockets. The breakfast was fresh and included a variety of options like cereals, milk, and juice. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to visit.

The showers were a bit small and there was not much space for clothes and toiletries. It could get noisy at night, especially when people would ring the doorbell late at night.

I recently stayed at Baxter hostel in a great location near Princes Street. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to drop off our bags before check-in. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a lovely decor. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with made-to-order scrambled eggs. The staff also provided helpful recommendations for attractions and bars. Additionally, the hostel had lockers big enough to store carry-on luggage and more.

    Totally recommend this hostel!

The hostel is perfectly located right off Princes Street, so you're right amongst all the action. You can easily walk to all the attraction places in that area, and it's very close to the railway station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities are always clean. The beds are comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The breakfast is simple but satisfying.

The hostel can get quite noisy during the night, depending on the other guests.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel in the heart of town. The location was perfect, right across the street from the train station and in the very center of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, with reception available 24 hours a day. The cleanliness of the hostel was top-notch, with warm and clean dorms and hot showers. The kitchen and common area were welcoming, providing a great space to meet people and relax. And the breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, and unlimited tea and coffee. this was the best hostel we stayed at during our Europe trip.

    Nothing bad to say.

I recently stayed at The Baxter Hostel for a short trip and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The location was perfect, and I was able to easily explore the city. The hostel was very clean and well-maintained, and I was impressed with the design and style. The triple bunks were sturdy and didn't make any noise, which is rare in hostels. The breakfast options looked great, and I appreciated that they catered to different dietary needs. it was excellent value for money.

    Would recommend this hostel.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, close to everything to be honest. It may be down a sketchy looking alleyway, but it is near the train station, which makes it convenient for business trips. the staff here are lovely and welcoming. the breakfast is hearty and satisfying, with options like eggs and multi-grain bread. the showers have a space to hang your clothes for privacy, a nice touch. the bathrooms are generally tidy and the design is pleasing.

There were some noise issues with doors slamming and a loud doorbell, which could disrupt sleep.

This hotel is great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. I was impressed with the attention to detail, especially in the rooms which had everything I required. The location of this hotel is perfect, situated on a street parallel to Princess Street and almost right in front of Waverly train station. It's right in the downtown area, making it convenient for exploring the city.

The size of the rooms, as six people per room made it a bit cramped.

Great staff and friendly atmosphere. the hostel was clean and well-maintained. the location was ideal, close to the train station and right in the city center.

The facilities were inadequate for the number of guests. There were only two toilets and two bathrooms for over 30 people, causing long waits and discomfort.

The location of the hostel is excellent, as it is just a short walk from the railway station. The convenience of being near public transportation makes it easy to explore the city. Additionally, there is a laundry shop just two streets away, perfect for those in need of clean clothes.

There was some noise disturbance from a nearby construction project.
